The 20" barreled AR15 chambered in 5.56 NATO has a lot going for it, high velocity, gentle recoil impulse, increased reliability, longer service life, is easier to maintain muzzle awareness, and if you run out of ammo this one has a handy bayonet lug equipped A2 front sight post that is pinned in place. Last, but not least, the Magpul Handguard is not only light and comfortable in your hand on both hot and cold days, it has MLOK attachment points, so adding accessories such as lights, bipods, sling mounts, etc a snap.
This AR15 upper features similar characteristics as the milspec versions, plus a few upgrades like the QPQ finish that is nearly as hard as diamonds and more corrosion and scratch-resistant than phosphate on the originals.
