The Stribog SP9A3 is an improved version of the SP9A1 that came to prominence when in 2019 the US Army was evaluating for its Sub Compact Weapon Systems.

This updated version still boasts the great reliability and robustness of the SP9A1, but has been upgraded with a semi-locked, roller lock brake and split tension lever that remains in the forward position when firing.
